Applecross Medical Fees and Billing Policy
Applecross Village Medical Centre is a Private and Bulk Billing practice (we bulk bill Pensioners, Health Care Card holders and children 16 years and under).
Once you have paid for the consultation, we can process the claim through to Medicare electronically for you. Medicare will then send a cheque out to your address or transfer it into your nominated bank account, if you have registered for EFT refunds with Medicare. If you would like more information, please talk to our friendly receptionist or call Medicare on 132 011 (local call rate). Please note that Medicare no longer gives you cash over the counter on presentation of a paid bill.
If you have any difficulty in paying our fees, please discuss it with your GP.
